Why do you say to me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ but you don’t do what I say?

Luk 6:46 “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ but you don’t do what I say?

Let us not fall into the snare of being unforgiving and unloving.
Follow his commandments,1)Joh 15:12 “This is my commandment: that you love one another as I have loved you. ISV 2)Luk 11:42 “How terrible it will be for you Pharisees! You give a tenth of your mint, spices, and every kind of herb, but you neglect justice and the love of God. These are the things you should have practiced, without neglecting the others. ISV
Forgive, so you can be forgiven.3)Mat 18:32 Then his master sent for him and told him, ‘You evil servant! I canceled that entire debt for you because you begged me.
Mat 18:33 Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant, just as I had mercy on you?’
Mat 18:34 In anger his master handed him over to the torturers until he could repay the entire debt.
Mat 18:35 This is how my heavenly Father will treat each one of you unless you forgive your brother from your hearts.”
ISV

Love, so you can be loved. 4)Mat 5:44 But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you,
Mat 5:45 so that you will become children of your Father in heaven, because he makes his sun rise on both evil and good people, and he lets rain fall on the righteous and the unrighteous.
Mat 5:46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you have? Even the tax collectors do the same, don’t they?
Mat 5:47 And if you greet only your relatives, that’s no great thing you’re doing, is it? Even the gentiles do the same, don’t they?
Mat 5:48 So be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.”
ISV

Move yourself and your ego out of the way
and let the holy spirit shine out through you.5)Mat 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. and recognize the Love of God.

Love Is The Fulfillment Of The Law. 9)Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. KJV 10)Rom 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. KJV 11)Rom 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. KJV 12)Gal 5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. KJV 13)Jas 2:8 One law rules over all other laws. This royal law is found in the Scriptures: “Love your neighbor the same as you love yourself.” If you obey this law, you are doing right. ERV

And in your prayers always do as he commanded

Mat 6:9 Therefore, this is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy.
Mat 6:10 May your kingdom come. May your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Mat 6:11 Give us today our daily bread,
Mat 6:12 and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who have sinned against us.
Mat 6:13 And never bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’
Mat 6:14 Because if you forgive people their offenses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
Mat 6:15 But if you do not forgive people their offenses, your Father will not forgive your offenses.”
ISV

Being able to forgive, makes your prayer life more effective.

And be open to renew your mind daily.14)Rom 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but continually be transformed by the renewing of your minds so that you may be able to determine what God’s will is—what is proper, pleasing, and perfect. ISV 15)Rom 12:2 Don’t change yourselves to be like the people of this world, but let God change you inside with a new way of thinking. Then you will be able to understand and accept what God wants for you. You will be able to know what is good and pleasing to him and what is perfect. ERV

We Thank You Lord, Now And Forever.
