The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

The first sacrifice was made, and blood was shed, to cover our iniquity.
And save us from death.3)Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in union with the Messiah Jesus our Lord.

We sometimes don’t realize, that the first death in this world was a sacrifice to cover our first sin,
and points to the real first sacrifice and our salvation, the Lamb Slain From The Foundation Of The World, Jesus.
Abel understood, and God favored him for that.4)Gen 4:4 while Abel offered the best parts of some of the firstborn from his flock. The LORD looked favorably upon Abel and his offering,
Gen 4:5 but he did not look favorably upon Cain and his offering. When Cain became very upset and depressed,
Gen 4:6 the LORD asked Cain, “Why are you so upset? Why are you depressed?
Gen 4:7 If you do what is appropriate, you’ll be accepted, won’t you? But if you don’t do what is appropriate, sin is crouching near your doorway, turning toward you. However, you must take dominion over it.”

God instituted blood sacrifice, because it was always his intention to redeem us by the blood of Jesus shed at the cross.
And through that sacrifice, provide an everlasting covering for our sins.
He wraps us in salvation5)Isa 61:10 “I will heartily rejoice in the LORD, my soul will delight in my God; for he has wrapped me in garments of salvation; he has arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, just like a bridegroom, like a priest with a garland, and like a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

We are called, ‘The LORD’S Priests,’ ‘The Servants of our God.‘ We are proud of all the Lord has given us from all the nations on earth.
People talk(ed) badly about us and said bad things to us. We were shamed much more than any other people. So in the land the Lord gave us we get multiple times more than other people. We have the joy that never ends.
That’s because the LORD loves justice. He hates stealing and everything that is wrong. So He gives everyone what they deserve. He makes an everlasting agreement with all who love him.
Our descendants are known throughout the earth, and everyone knows our children. When you see them you will know that the LORD has blessed us.
Heavenly Father, We Who You Have Chosen To Serve You,
